The January meeting was held at the home of Jonathan. This is his new home and he made us all feel very welcome!

We are in search for spearkers willing to present for meetings. Please feel free to volunteer. Anthony will be doing a presentation on the setup and operation of a vivarium. The vivarium was currently under construction at the time of the meeting. It is now operational. All he has to do is gather the photos and video of the project.

The OARA will be at the National Wildlife Week Wildlife Festival at the Billings Bridge Shopping Plaza again this year. It's three months away and all volunteers are welcome. Jonathan will have more details in February.

The OARA received a thank you from the Ottawa Ex Pet Fest coordinator.

There will be a Reptile Expo on the 27thof May at the Kemptville Community Complex. The OARA will have a table there in order to offer the public information on our club. Volunteers are welcome for this event as well.

There was discussion during the meeting regarding the people who may wish to attend the 31st International Herpetological Symposium on the 20-23 of June and if there are members going and the possibility of sharing accommodations. One of our members, Wes von Papineäu, will be presenting a lecture on the media and reptiles. This is not to be missed!

The rest of the meeting was spent socializing.
